A great alternative to a tandoori style chicken is a salmon cooked in tandoori style. This recipe not only tastes good but is so easy to make. I usually get fresh salmon fillets from the local farmers market here and then marinate and freeze them in ziplock bags. Just remove the bag from the freezer and grill it on a griller or in the oven.
|4||Salmon fillets (rinced, patted dry and scored)|
|3||Tablespoon||Tandoori Masala (Can be bought in any indian store or in International section in grocery store)|
|1||Tablespoon||ginger garlic paste|
- Clean and rinse the salmon fillets
- Add all the above ingredients in a bowl.Rub them well and set them aside for an hour in the refrigerator.
- Heat the grill pan and lightly coat it with oil.Place the salmon fillets over it, removing the excess marinade. Grill on both sides till grill marks appear. ( An alternative way is to bake the fish at 350F and then broil for 5 minutes. )
Do not turn keep turning the fish during grilling.
